ATB Morley was established in 1897 & is a UK based leading designer & manufacturer of large rotating electrical machines, particularly three phase AC induction motors. We specialise in flameproof & heavy-duty electric motors for bespoke applications & hazardous environments .

Our flameproof product ranges carry approval certificates from authorities in the UK, the USA, China, Australia & Russia among others. Our reputation for robust, high quality products that are built to last is well known throughout a broad spectrum of industries .

The quality & reliability of Morley's mining motors is known throughout the world. Mining motors range from 4kW up to 1500kW and can be supplied for any underground application.

Although Morley manufactures a comprehensive range of industrial motors, our flexibility has made us particularly strong in the UK retrofit market. Where an old / obsolete motor requires replacing our engineers can visit site, collect data & measure up in order that we can design & manufacture a modern metric motor that is directly electrically & mechanically interchangeable. Many of these drives are large fans & pulverising mills etc. that require heavy-duty electric motors.

Heavy-duty electric motors are available up to 2000 kW and 7.2kV for use in the mining, steel, water/sewage treatment, power, wind, marine, oil, petrochemical, chemical, nuclear, defence & other industries.
